Katoh Golden Cup 2020

順延で心配された年長の駅伝大会「Katoh Golden Cup」が無事開催されました。

強風ではありましたが、年長児94名が元気に愛鷹広域公園に集まりました。

開会式

準備体操の後はMrs.Sanoと一緒にいつもの掛け声！！

「Let's go Leaders！！」

さあ！気合が入りました！！

スタート地点です。第1走者の4人。

よーい、スタート！の掛け声をいまか、今かと待っています。

緊張がはしります・・・・ドキドキ・・・

力強くスタートしました。

後姿がたくましい！！みんながんばれ～！！

お友達が走ってきました！タスキを渡します。

この日のために何回も練習してきました。

しっかり最後までタスキが渡りますように！！

アンカーです。ゴールテープを一番に切ったのはもも組でした！！

全員タスキを渡して無事ゴールすることができました！！

閉会式です。

もも組代表園児が優勝カップを副園長、キンダーブルからいただきました。

大きく掲げて「やったぞー！！」

続いて「がんばり賞」の授与。

一人一人に先生たちが賞状を用意してくれていました。

代表園児がまずはいただきます。

最後にキンダーブルからお話がありました。

「みんな本当によく頑張って走りぬきました！！そして今日の為に応援してくださったお家の方にも感謝しましょう。」

最後に園児全員で「ありがとうございました。Thank you very much」とご挨拶。

閉会式の後に担任の先生から一人一人賞状をいただきました。

先生と一緒に何日もこの日のために活動してきました。

みんなの頑張りは先生がしっかり見ていてくれました。

頑張ったみんなに先生たちは一言づつ声をかけていました。

気温も低く、強風の中、保護者の皆さまのご参加、そして警備、安全に対する配慮など、多くのご協力をいただき感謝申し上げます。

今年の駅伝大会も無事に開催することができました。

K1 Immersion Valentine's Day

We hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and didn't let COVID get you down! Here in K1 Immersion we were super excited to celebrate Valentine's Day. Let's check out some of the fun activities we did!

First up is making heart bracelets!

Next is our Plant a Kiss activity! They made hearts with lots of glitter, and helped their kisses grow using pipe cleaners. 

We also made Love Bugs! We are all about hearts and LOVE!

More hearts! We even made heart bookmarks. Look at those adorable fingerprints!

Last but not least, our heart hopscotch activity. All K1 children love to move and jump, so they really loved the heart themed movement activity!

International Days

 　Everyone had a blast during this year's International Days!

A big thank you to the families for lending us international items for our display.

【Opening Ceremony】

 For Opening Ceremony all the Immersion children review our travel itinerary and we practiced our greetings in Igbo, Arabic and French. 

We also sang our special theme-song, We are the Children of the World.

Everyone was exited about exploring Nigeria,Egypt and Canada so, with passports ready, off they went!

【Nigeria】

Upon arriving Nigeria in their magical airplanes, they were surprised to see their teachers dressed in colorful Nigerian Ankara fabrics, dancing to vibrant Nigerian music and waiting them.

They made their own Udu(drums) and listened to the Nigerian National anthem.

【Egypt】

The children were brave and explored an Egyptian pyramid filled with mummies,scarab beetles, hieroglyphs, and even a sarcophagus!

After they completed the Pyramid maze, they watched a quiz all about Egypt and have learned many new surprising facts.

The kids were so excited to visit a real pyramid and be transported to another country!

【Canada】

The children were brought on an adventure of discovery in Canada, learning about

its beautiful nature, delicious national treasure and Canada's favorite sports: ice hockey!

We learned how maple syrup is made, from tree sap to delicious topping-and the children even got to try some real Canadian maple syrup!

【Closing Ceremony】

At the Closing Ceremony, each grade watched a video message from our special guests from Nigeria, Egypt and Canada. 

We listened to the story 'Alibaba and the Forty Thieves' in Egypt.

We listened a cute Nigerian children's song.

We have learned how children in Canada play in the snow.

We were very excited and enjoyed travelling to the different countries during the international days.

つながり節分

 ２月２日　今日は節分の日

本来は３日の節分の日ですが、今年は２日の節分の日です。１日ずれるのは１２４年ぶりだそうです。このような日に体験できたことは大変貴重な１日でした。

さて、今年の節分は、、、

富士山ファミリーで２グループに分れて活動を行いました。

（子ども達が着用している緑のTシャツはオープンで着用しているつながりTシャツです。）

ひとつのグループは、『やいかがし作り！』

『できあがり！』

もうひとつのグループは、『福豆を食べました』

（コロナ対策として食べる前に子ども達には消毒。保育者は手袋をしました。）

さぁ！いよいよ鬼が登場

「鬼は外！福は内！」

２０２１年！みんなにとって良い年になりますように！
