年長イマージョンクラス、うめ・もも組です！
あしたか芸術村に陶芸体験にいってきました♪
子ども達には事前にカップかお皿かどっちを作るのか決めてきてもらい、たくさんの陶芸の先生に囲まれて、作り始めました。
まずは挨拶をして、製作開始です！！
K3 Immersion Plum and Peach class.
We went to the pottery experience at
Ashitaka Geijutu Mura.
The children decided in advance whether to
make a cup or a dish.
We were lucky to have the help of a lot of pottery teachers!
First of all, let’s greet them and start!!
平たいお皿を作る人は、布の上に土粘土を置いて自分の手でたたいて平たくし、中に絵を描いたり、スタンプをして模様をつけていきました。
The children
who chose to make the dish put clay on the cloth and flattened it with their
hands. After they drew a picture inside or stamped it and patterned it.
カップを作る人は、ろくろの上に置いて指を使って中に穴をあけていきました。
The children who made the cup put clay on
the potter’s wheel and used their fingers to create a hollow inside.
土の粘土に初めて触った子もいて、「うわぁ～」と思わず声に出てしまった子や、感触を楽しんでいた子もいました。
完成した子は、何色のお皿にするか陶芸の先生に伝えたら終わりです！！
Many children really enjoyed the feeling of
the clay. For some children this was the first time they had worked with real clay.
There were several exclamations like “Wow!”
After each child finished their creation, they were able to tell the pottery teacher what color to glaze it with.
作り終わった子は、施設の人からどうやってこのお皿ができあがるのか、窯を見せてもらい説明していただきました。なんと乾燥した後、800℃と1200℃の窯で2回も焼くそうです‼子ども達はとっても驚いていました。
The finished child were showed the kiln and
explained the firing process by the pottery teacher.
After drying, the dish or cup is baked
twice in a kiln of 800℃ and 1200℃.

出来上がった食器が届くもう少し先ですが、届くことを楽しみにまっています♪
We have to wait a little before the
finished pottery arrives, but we are looking forward to receiving them.
