Rose and Lily prepare for K2 as the year draws to an end!

 

It has been a magical year for children in Rose and Lily class. The children have grown in many ways, and are excited to be moving on to the next grade!

In preparation the current K2 teachers, Ms. Lindy and Ms. Kas, visited K1 classes and shared with them what to expect when they move on to K2. From the Fly Away day, to advance lessons in jolly Phonics and the Eikeden race, the children in Rose and Lily were filled with excitement on all that lies ahead. To make the visit even more fun, the k1 children had the chance to play dodgeball with the current K2 children.

After the K1 Visit, the children were tasked to work in groups to complete Sakura blossom crafts. The activity was their chance to prove that they were indeed ready for K2 and they can work together in teams.

As expected, the children worked really hard and earned the badge for entrance into K2.

Good luck to Rose and Lily as they move on to the next grade. They truly are super stars!

年中駅伝大会

 年中の駅伝大会が行われました。

まん延防止重点措置期間中のため、今年度は開会式閉会式は各クラスで行われました。

保護者の方にはグラウンドで拍手のみの応援をお願いしましたが、たくさんの方が来てくださり、子どもたちも元気満タンに！！

いよいよスタートです！！

高校校舎前のスタート地点は緊張感が漂っています。

スタートしました。風を切って走ります！

　　

年少さん・年長さんも応援に駆けつけてくれました！

「ことりさーん！がんばれ～！！」

一生懸命走る姿にはいつも心を動かされます。

沢山の応援ありがとうございます！！

1位のうぐいす組にはトロフィーが授与されました。

「おめでとう！！」

コロナ禍ではありましたがこうして無事に駅伝大会を行うことができました。

年中ことり組の子どもたちはいよいよ4月にはリーダーさんです。

最終学年として幼稚園を引っ張っていってくださいね！！

リーダーを送る会

 もうすぐ卒園式、年長さんと過ごせるのもあと少しです。

リーダーさんに沢山優しくしてもらった年少さん・年中さんから「ありがとう」とプレゼントが送られました。

一足先にかわいい春が訪れています🌸

International Days Closing Ceremony -Waka

We were treated to two performances from the drumming group Waka.

インターナショナルデイズのスペシャルゲストで「和迦」さんが来てくださいました。

First a solo on the big drum, and then a fantastic rhythmic piece from the 4 performers. The drums were so loud!

最初に大きな和太鼓、そして次は4つの和太鼓でリズミカルな曲を演奏してくださいました。和太鼓はとても大きな音でした。

Then it was our turn! Each child had the opportunity to try one of the drums and ‘follow my leader’ style try a few different drum beats. It was so much fun!

そのあとは私たちの番です！子どもたちに和太鼓を演奏できる時間がありました。和迦さんの太鼓の音をよく聞いて、まねをしながら叩きました。とても楽しかったです！

At the end we sang our International Days song ‘We Love All The Little Children’ to say thank you to Waka and took a group picture!

最後にインターナショナルデイズの歌の「We Love All The Little Children」を歌いました。和迦さんにありがとうと言って一緒に写真を撮りました。

Finally, K2 gave Waka a present from our Kindergarten.
