We learned to work together !

February has been an amazing month for K1! It was a short month, but it was such an important one because it made us all stop and think about other people in our lives.

Besides celebrating love in K1, we learned the importance of respecting each other and working together either in groups or in pairs.

First, we had lots of fun working in groups to colored giant beets. We worked really hard making sure we used the right colors and colored in the right spaces.

Next, we made special animal crowns which we wore for our role-play of the book “The Farmer and the Beet”

                                                                            

Again, we learned how to work in pairs. We colored Cherry Blossoms with our partners and put our names on them 

And perhaps, the highlight of the entire month was our visit to K2! Our K2 friends invited us to their classrooms and told us what to expect in the new year. From bigger sounds in Jolly phonics to the Eikeden race, K2 seems to hold a lot of fun!

Truly, individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean!
