Summer Camp

 The summer holiday was nearly here, but before the holiday K3 children went to Momozawa for summer camp.

River play, camp fire, nature walk and much more. We had so much fun. Away from their parents for the first time, they had to do everything by themselves. Excited and nervous at the same time everyone still enjoyed the camp. After the camp we could see how much they had grown up.

 

On the first day, we played in the river, this is one of the favourite things for children. The water was cool on the hot and sunny day.

The playground was fun after the water play. 

Dinner was curry rice. “Yummy! Yummy!” “Are there any seconds?”

Songs around the campfire with fireworks wrapped up a busy first day of events.

Marshmallows were sweet treats for today’s good job.  They were yummy. Best toasted on the camp fire.

We were ready for a bath and bed after the fun packed day.

Next day, we went for a nature walk along the small road up the mountain and through the trees. It was so cool. There is a wishing bridge, let’s make a wish.

All too soon camp was over and it was time to say goodbye. We had so much fun! See you back at kindergarten next term. Have a fun and safe holiday. “Who wants to come to camp again?” “YES!!!”
