K1Immersion Pizza Making Field Trip

Our Pizza Making Field Trip to Eneria Cooking Studio was a great success. Each child got the opportunity to make their own pizza.

Everyone carefully entered the studio, put their drink bottle down and went to wash their hands.

It was good we could see the instructor and what she was doing really clearly because there were so many TV’s showing a close up of the preparation board.

First we chopped up ham. “chop, chop” Then we pressed down out dough ball to make a round base. “press, press”

After that we spread the tomato sauce topping on the dough.

Then we could choose what ingredients we wanted to put on our pizza, arranging the toppings and splitting up the cheese strips. It was very fun.

Lastly, we reviewed the things we has used and done with a handy picture sheet.

Next it was time to find out about the soup we would eat. It contained lots of yummy vegetables like sweetcorn and carrots as well as pasta.

We carefully passed around the napkins and spoons: “Here you are”

It was time to say our lunch greeting then taste our soup. “Mmmm yummy”.

When the pizzas came out of the ovens everyone was excited to see how their one had cooked!

They were delicious and we really enjoyed this experience. Thank you very much to Eneria Cooking Studio.

世界一に向けて頑張れ！！ICTクラブ！！

来る9月20日土曜に幼稚園併設である「加藤学園暁秀初等学校のICTクラブ」が、小・中学生のための国際ロボット競技会「2025 UNIVERSAL ROBOTICS CHALLENGE」世界大会に日本代表として出場します。

出場選手の多くが加藤学園幼稚園の卒園生でもあります。

暁秀初等学校ICTクラブは世界大会2連覇もかかっています。

幼稚園からも大きなエールを送ります！

ICTクラブの皆さん！世界連覇を目指して頑張ってくださいね！！

つながりフェスタ（オープンプランコース）

今年もこの時期がやってきました！

オープンプランコースの『つなフェス』(つながりフェスティバル）

リーダーさん（年長児）主催のお店屋さんごっこです。

この日のためにグループで話し合い、企画から商品作りまで

グループで協力して作り上げました。

ことり組さん（年中児）はリーダーさんの代わりに

小さなはな組さん（年少児）のお世話をします。

昨年はまだまだ小さかったことりさんも

今年は小さなはな組さんをリードしてくれました。

頼もしくなりましたね😊

お買い物ごっこの後はランチを食べて

ダンスパーティーをして楽しみました。

今年もつなフェス大成功！！

In preparation for this trip, we had a pre-field trip activity the day before. We explored the question: “Where does the river’s water come from?” Using our senses, we also asked: “What will we see, hear, smell, and feel when we visit the river?”

前日に園外保育の事前活動を行いました。私たちは「源兵衛川の水はどこから来ているのか？」について探究しました。また五感を使って「川を訪れた時、何を見て、聞いて、嗅いで、感じるだろうか？」とも問いかけました。

As a hands-on experience, the children worked together to create their class’s Mt. Fuji diorama, using clay, sparking curiosity and wonder.

実践的な体験として、子どもたちは紙粘土を使って富士山のジオラマをクラスで協力して作りました。活動を通して、子どもたちの興味関心が広がりました。

On the day of our field trip, the children arrived at Honkakuji Temple, where we greeted the owner warmly with smiles and enthusiasm.

園外保育当日、子どもたちは本覚寺さんのご厚意でお部屋をお借りして、着替えやランチをさせていただきました。

Excitement grew as we began our walk to the river. Even before arriving, the children were already noticing and commenting on the sound of the flowing water.

川へ向かって歩き始めると、子どもたちのテンションもあがり、楽しみにしている様子が伝わってきました。到着する前から、子どもたちはすでに流れる水の音に気づき、それについて話していました。

At the river, during our water play, the children were able to appreciate the blessing of water flowing all the way from Mt. Fuji. They used their senses to observe their surroundings closely and discovered so many things to explore.

川辺での水遊び中、子どもたちは富士山から流れ下る水の恵みを実感しました。五感を研ぎ澄ませて周囲を観察して、探究すべき多くの発見がありました。

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they explored different spaces of the river. They stepped carefully across the rocks, discovered shells, and noticed dragonflies and butterflies fluttering nearby. With laughter and excitement, they splashed in the fresh, cooling water - appreciating its clarity and realizing it is also home to many living things in nature.

子どもたちは川辺の様々な場所を探検しながら、心ゆくまで楽しみました。岩の上を慎重に踏みしめ、貝殻を見つけ、近くをひらひらと舞うトンボや蝶に気づきました。笑い声と興奮に包まれながら、清涼な水しぶきを上げて水遊びを楽しみました。その透明な水に感嘆し、自然の多くの生き物たちの住処でもあることに気づいたのです。

After the water play, we returned to the temple, where the children changed into dry clothes and enjoyed a picnic lunch with friends, teachers, and school staff; a wonderful time of community and joy.

水遊びの後、私たちは寺に戻り、子どもたちは乾いた服に着替えて、友達や先生、ドライバーさんと一緒にピクニックランチを楽しみました。仲間と喜びに満ちた素晴らしい時間でした。

Back at school, we carried with us memories and experiences we will treasure, ready to build more connections through our daily explorations: whether in stories, mark-making, manipulatives, or loose-parts play!

幼稚園にに戻って、私たちは大切にしたい思い出や経験を胸に抱き、日々の探究を通じて新たなつながりを築く準備ができています。物語や体験画、指先を使った遊び、自由な箱制作遊びなどを通して！
