K3I Mikan Picking Outing

We recently went on an outing to pick mikan citrus fruit.
It took around 40 minutes to get there by bus.

A very nice man explained how to pick the mikan fruit without damaging the tree.

The children had to climb up a big hill. They had lots of energy!

Fresh air and exercise!

There were so many different kinds of mikan trees!
We brought home 5 mikan and we also ate lots on site!

Searching for the perfect mikan!

Looks delicious!

Look at this one!

We took a break for lunch.

What a beautiful setting for eating lunch together!

After lunch...we still had room for eating more delicious mikan!

Happy! Happy! Happy!

Not many people get the chance to pick fresh fruit off the tree!

This mikan will soon disappear! Yum! Yum!

We have been learning about eating healthy food, so they were happy to do it!

"I ate three so far!" "And I will eat more!"

We have also been learning about sharing so the children were happy to share with their family.

Making memories with friends!

We love spending time outside!

Peek-a-boo! I see you!

We are so grateful to nature for sharing delicious treasures!
We all really enjoyed this outing!
